yeah I had to smile when I heard Matt say "I may need to line up another truck for the 12th". that was after they put 4500 fish back in pond 4 because they didn't expect to get as many as they did.

A few small ones, and a few large. But on average, most were right around 10-11" I'd say.

It was an awesome day yesterday [smilie=2thumbsup.gif]
They had not planned on getting as many as they did last week, so had put 5000 fish back into the pond that we drained yesterday. After one push of the seine net we had recovered about that many. Almost none had died, and the pond was already holding more than than the previous pond. When I left we had counted over 15,000 and there was still a couple thousand left in the collection box due to lack of space. Every truck and tank was full at the hatchery, and assuming no overnight catastrophes they are going to get to the entire list this year, except Teal Lake in the UP, which was removed for other reasons.

Wow [smilie=applause.gif] So there was over 3000 in the collection box over night, and they lived! So glad to see the Muskegon county lakes get full+ orders. What a great year. I think we all owe Matt Hughes a couple cold ones [smilie=cheers2.gif]
