I would love a rematch with the fish that ate my bulldawg on Hamlin. Margarethe was awesome as it gave us a chance to hit the chain too. Sanford was a nice trip too.

I think it would be cool if maybe we could go down to the Ice Out Challenge as a group. I have never been there and I would enjoy doing it in this fashion. In the few tourneys I have been in, my favorite times have been hanging out shootin the chit before and after the event.

That's easy, as soon as we have the date book a room at The Lodge, then everyone will be in the same place. Gotta come in a beer drinknig mood, and bring extra shoes in case it rains. LOL

Those "Dogs" that we bought are awesome! Best $3 I've ever spent. I wear them literally every day. They're my "go outside for a cigarette" shoes!

What about this:
March 25 – Ice Out Challenge
May 18 – Ovid Cash Tournament
June 16,17 – LSC
September 14,15 – Upper Chain
October 12 – Bruce Memorial

Gives us a decent mix around the state:

Maybe do a 'fish for the day' event in June and move LSC to July

I like the looks of that. The only one that may have to change is the one in September if the early youth hunt is the 2nd weekend again.

This past Sept it was on the 22nd though, so unless they move it up a week these dates should be fine.

Last year it was on 9/15. My guess is the seasons will be the same as this year (third weekend) since the EHD outbreak seems to have hit S. Michigan pretty hard it's not likely they'll have the one week early antlerless season like 2011. Problem is the seasons aren't going to be set for quite a while and the outing dates need to be set by the end of October. The best we can do is avoid major conflicts (mothers day, fathers day, holidays, etc).

Well can we just it for the 14th officially, but then change it if it lines up with hunting season?
