Someone has completely spaced out and just realized we don't have a schedule for 2012 outings. The Ovid tournament and Bruce will be on the same Saturday as 2011.

Where do you guys want to go this year?

When? Where?

I'd like to hit Sanford again or maybe Wixom to stay on the chain maybe in September or even November.

Hamlin Lake needs an outing to help educate the locals. I believe the offer to use the Hamlin Twp Hall for a MMA event is still valid.

I just hope I can actually make it to one this year regardless. Hamlin sounds cool though, not too far for a lot of us, but still somewhere most have not fished yet! Something came up every time last year…

I would love a Hamlin outing. Margrethe was fun last year, we need more peeps to show up though, great campground and awesome lake.

I would be interested in a Hamlin outing. Plenty of room for all of us as well!

I'd also be up for another Sanford outing in Sept.
Hamlin might be a good summertime venue. I'm assuming its size helps keep it somewhat cooler than our smaller inland lakes.
My thoughts would be:
May: Ovid
July: Hamlin
Sept: Sanford
Oct: Thorn

True that Hamlin Lake is a summer madhouse especially on the weekends. Last year in August there was a algae bloom that lasted well into September. We waited until after Labor Day when things calmed down, but the algae was still present.

That could be a good thing…more bites and fewer follows perhaps.

Ha!! Even if there was clear water when we are there, I would still hope for at least a follow! [smilie=attention.gif]

Agreed, after my 2011 fails on that lake, I would just like to SEE a hamlin muskie.
