Have a group outing in western u.p?wisc in October(If gas prices come down)
Maybe have a LSC outing at a campground(if there is)maybe 2 days.
Maybe agroup outing for GBAY or NW ontario for 2007,get on it and make reservations this winter/spring….that way a lot of people could plan for something that distant…..plus we need to find a lodge/resort that isn`t booked that we could block off 4-8 cabins???
Ice up challenge at murray……probably have to get some kind of dnr/sheriff permit.The west ramp would have room to set up some tables(no pavilion),food,etc…???????
More ideas to come… 🙄 Scrap the u.p thing,,,no good accomadations in a central area of abundance of lakes(don`t want to stay in a hotel)….not sure if I`m right just guessing as far as the western U.p from driving through……
Maybe a group outing to vilas county for there opener,could get 3-5 cottages for a 2 or 3 day stay…they do that until almost june(eagle river,the desert,cisco chain,etc..
If you like to cast June is a good time on Moon River. If you like to troll go in September as the casting bite in September usually results in a bunch of follows.
I'm going in June this year. Season opens 3rd Saturday in June and the fish are usually shallow. Space fills up very fast now as several of the main places to stay have closed their doors. Place I usually stay at has 3 cottages with 5 beds per cottage. The price for 3 days is the same as for the entire week. Its about $500 US per cottage a week or $100 per fishermen. They also have onsite camping. If people are serious about going, I can make reservations.

I liked bomba/Dannys idea for match fishing…….user friendly,can win some fun stuff,and anything fun w/also so competition…..
I think the outings are both fun and great to get together(I`ve only been to the skeg safari,and hudson ice up),I can only say that group outings are nice………not trying to shoot myself in the foot here……BUT……….I would prefer a day and a half outing at least (like skeg,but not on skeg..lol….cottage cabin somewhere),as opposed to everyone meeting in indiana,hudson or ovid etc…
I would like to see more tournaments(keep sanford)on a smaller scale.Maybe two other tournaments that go from sun up to sundown w/food,
so it`s not so pressured that everyone looks like there in kind of a hurray to leave after the tournament,and I overheard a few people mentioned aren`t we goin to have dogs or burgs or something besides donuts..???
Maybe one in May(tournaments) and one in october???More the merrier,or even a small gathering of maybe 10-15 boats??20 people X maybe 15 bucks a piece,chapter or whoever provides food,payout of like 200$$ first place,100 $ second,etc….
