Anyone in the Lansing area with kids, check out the Youth Sports Day held in Burchfield Park south of Lansing, Saturday June 11.

It features outdoor HANDS-ON activities and displays related to fishing, hunting, shooting, archery, canoeing, kayaking, camping, hiking, trapping, wildlife… lots of stuff!

The park has a pond that is popular for swimming and is also heavily stocked with rainbows for this day for the kids to catch and keep.

Lunch is provided, as well as raffle prizes and free t-shirts for the first 300 kids. This is a very well attended event, and comes with a money-back guarantee that your kids will have a great time (yes it is FREE, except for the $2 Ingham Co. park fee).
