Old Stand By- the problem is I don't know which one! I wish I knew what the water temps are going to be… they were steaming but now we've had some cold nights. We should be post spawn most everywhere though for the most part, I guess. Will probably start out shallow hoping for the best there, twitchin all the way, but will move out and down if the fish say so.
Never argue with a musky, or try to tell them what they want to eat!
I will probably start out throwing my 12-inch Deep Threat and twitchin it for about two seconds or until my rod breaks from the weight and pull of the lure. Then I will switch to my 14-inch Jake for about 5 casts and then throw my 18-inch bulldawg 4 or 5 times and then call it a day. Just kidding, man it has been a LONG winter! 😯 😯 😯
I will probably start out with my 6-inch Hughes River or a Mepps Musky Killer and fish shallow.

I know all of US musky freaks have benn collecting lures over the long winter, So what will it be an old stand by or a newbie?Mine will be an old stand by……It used to be gold and black????
GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY
HAHAHAHA, I know exactly which lure that will be mister.
My first lure in will be a Little Claw or a Jailbait, conditions will make the call for me.

I'm putting all my eggs in one basket- I have a new black surface lure that I acquired at the banquet that will be calling them up ALL DAY! I'm just not sure how I will hook them… Dan you got any hooks for that thing??
