I just got this email thought I'd pass it on for those that might be interested. Problem is I don't know where they hold their meetings in Grand Rapids, MI.

Spoonplugging Study Group This Thursday, March 16

The program will be about musky fishing by Brent Robbins. Brent has been very successful in the Detroit River and has some new information to share with us. He will also will explain the equipment and knots used. Review Bucks' material on muskies and articles in the "National Spoonplugger" and the "Spoonplugger Forum Online" by john Bales and Jerry Borst about musky to add to the discussion. A video on catching muskies with Brent the star will be shown! Come and join us.

Hey don't bother with Chase & Brent, Even if they show you a movie, Discuss knots, equipment, And yes even show the spots on a map, you guys just won't get it. If your not Spoonpluggers don't bother!!!! Lets see Musky Inc. the same guys who won't & don't share any fishing reports !!!! Spoonplugger[/i]

rodhawg – Even after discussing this in the past you still don't get it, the fishing reports is a member benefit. Where is the Michigan spoonplugger website that gives out specific information on specific lakes/rivers? These same spoonpluggers that you speak of are having a meeting for spoonplugger members (a member benefit) that will share information. Hmm… sounds like the same thing as our members only reports area.

Fishing is more than catching fish… though your handle pretty much says it all…

Coming here and throwing stones at MMA isn't very cool but it's become pretty common for you. MMA is a conservation organization that has done more for muskie fishing in Michigan than any other organization in the last four years. When you come here and throw stones it is NOT a great representation of the spoonpluggers. It's also a wonderful way (sarcasm) to welcome possible members of the general fishing fraternity into the spoonpluggers.

I'm going to hope and assume that you do NOT speak for all spoonpluggers and that all spoonpluggers wouldn't come here and bash a conservation organization.

Lastly, if you're going to take shots at a conservation organization have the guts to post your real name.

Hamilton – No problem at all. I got a couple emails from other spoonpluggers that assured me spoonpluggers are a good group of guys. Rodhawg just has a chip on his shoulder about our members reports area.
