I saw some pics on the M-S forum and it's pretty low. 20" down so far and I guess stumps are showing in some places. Any word yet on the outing? Moved/cancelled?
The September outing is now going to be at Ovid instead of Sanford, same day and time, with Scott Scarpelli and Don Bomba still hosting. The August Figure Eight will have all the details.
Remember: the Ovid launch has been renovated, and the new entrance is open 24/7/365. No more driving around the lake on the bomb-crater road! Entrance now is from Price Road, just 1/10 mi. east of Shepherdsville Road, or about 1/2 mi W. of the main Park entrance. The $6 State Park usage fee can be paid at the launch (if you don't have a 2010 State Park sticker).
Sorry, been in Canada and am just catching up here. Sanford is down about 4 feet now and not accessable as both launches are high and dry. Even if you have a small aluminum boat on the lake like I do, you had best know where you are going or you will take out an engine. The Homeowners association, much to my chagrin, chopped off all the stumps sticking out of the low water this weekend. If you like the smell of dead zebra mussles and rotting sea weed Sanford is the place for you.

Why would you be chagrinned? I would think that most people would not be chagrinned about that. If the stumps were already 3' below the surface, and the water is down 4', they probably only chopped off 1' then, right? Maybe you don't have to be chagrinned after all. Turn that chagrinning frown upside down. You don't get anywhere in life with a chagrin attitude. (BTW– I had to use dictionary.com) [smilie=biggrin.gif]

I am filled with ennui…
Ok, I'm writing this first, and then going back to dictionary.com. I'm going to guess it means "envy". I'll use it in a sentence. Tom is ennuious of Jim for being able to use big words. [smilie=brows.gif]
Ok.. just looked it up. Very funny…. [smilie=stickpoke.gif]
