I just read an article about fishing new waters, one comment on how to find fish was to follow the local walleye guys! couple that with the survey done in northern wisconsin, walleye being 0.9% of total number of fish stomachs surveys, and 3.4% by volume… I'd say they certainly live in similar areas for either cover, or food, or both!
