Anyone have one of the new ones or have used it and can compare it to the older ones? I have used my footpedal all of once this year on my 2006 PD55. It was rough to use since I was standing, no butt seat in the boat yet. The 'controls' on the pad seemed stiff, so I went back to using my remote. ( I have a Co-Pilot system. ) I just now put a holder on my bass rod, and have two more for my muskie rods. I have been using the remote on my wrist up til now. I have to stop retrieving to tap the controls on the fob. I would like the option to use a footpedal if it is smoother than the one that came with the PD. Any info would be appreciated. da Finn.
