I've got 2 9 inch Granny's that took on water. I drilled a whole in the bellies, removed the water and epoxyed up the hole along with around the lip and by the hook hangers. One is staying dry the other is still taking on water (of course it is a custom painted one I really like). I don't see any visible cracks so not sure where else the water could be seeping in from. Have any of you encountered the same issues and if so what did you do to try to fix it?

when you say its taking on water, do they nose dive as soon as you put them in the water? If thats the case, I have purchased way to many that have taken on water (I sold them all now) But if all you do is fill em with foam, I guess thats a fairly easy fix. I'll try that next time.

Actually as the bait sits in the water the start rapidly sinking tail down. I can hear the water sloshing around when I shake them too. Clearly its's taking on water from some place despite my putting epoxy on any areas it seemed water could get in. I'm going to drill it out and fill it with Greatstuff…yes, I have to plug Dow Chemical's only real direct to the customer product.

Drill two holes! You need a vent hole or you'll be wasting your time. I'm also not sure on how that lure is chambered since I've never had to fill one and the back 1/2 might be a differnt chamber than the front half.

Yep, thanks Will, I was aware I needed two holes but never considered the chamber issue.
