It took long enough but the things finally worked out and I was able to buy a GPS for the boat. I got an Eagle FishElite 480 on eBay for under $300. Not the fanciest unit but it's better than guessing my way back to Selfridge like I did last year. Can't wait for April 30!

Check online for forums for your GPS. I belong to a Hummingbird forum and it is great. The forum has a lot of great guys on it that are very smart and I have learned a lot from them. It's a good way to pass winter and you won't waste time on the water.
