Unfortunately I have taken a new position at the "real" job and have not been fishing much since Aug. I did manage to chase some muskies today on the river and put 2 in the box. Also had another 3 on.
These fish came jigging, with a 1 1/2 oz jig and 6" sassy shad in pearl and blk. 18 fow upper part of the river.
For those that have jigged for walleyes it is the same way onb on a larger scale. Keep it vertical and hang on!
Hey Bob
I've been out only once this fall for jigging. Put my buddy on a few and I got skunked. Messed up the lower unit so Im done for the year. Friends have been gettin down there and catchin some big girls. Tobad you have to dodge Bondy though. I was about ready to lay hands on him, and it wasn't for prayer. I started a new job with another fuel company that is not ripping me of with by the load pay. Actually hourly. Been runnin gas stations around town 6 days a week. Averaging 65 hour a week. Going back to nights next week, Thank God. Although my boats down for the season. By spring I will be able to fish every morning for about 5 hours. The beauty of it is the terminal Im out of is at West rd. in Woodhaven. just down the street from Elizabeth Park luanch. Looks like im going to hone my fishing skills down river. plan on moving that way, hopefully by Summertime.
