Planning to take a couple or few days off and get to this one as well. Torch lake area. Some of the locals here are not very fond of the muskellunge plants recently.

Definitely want to make one of the northern Lake Michigan meetings, and looks like this will be it. Will be staying somewhere that night before driving home too.

I'm still working out my work schedule but I am planning on attending this one or the one in Munising the day before.

I did actually make this one. It was attended by about 15 people. I was the only one with musky interest. The only people concerned about muskies were the few bays de Noc walleye guys. They were concerned about mixing fish, but were easily appeased and I think left far less concerned. Most of the banter was about brook trout, Walleye regs on an inland lake, and the indians… not the ones from Cleveland either.
As for Darren Kramer, the basin manager, he was hesitant when I asked him about the Menominee River MSL and also the bays, he was hesitant to increae the size limit, though he wanted to try to make things match up easier with shared waters. Unfortunately Wisconsin is 54", and that's not an option. His final words were "I would like to have more time to talk to more people". That said, he did say, if there are other people that have thoughts on this, please have them email me… so there's your queue! ** you do not have permission to see this link **.

We should definitely pass this on to some of the guys that fish Green Bay. There are some quite excited about the stocking in LBDN.
