This story was doctored up a bit to make it more interesting. Instead of using a boat trailer from lake to lake, more lakes can be covered in one day by lake-hopping with a seaplane. Laugh

Seaplane flips over while trying to land (big musky)

ELK RAPIDS – Officials are investigating a crash involving a seaplane attempting to land (a big musky) on Elk Lake.
Antrim County Sheriff's officials said the seaplane was attempting to land (a big musky) on Elk Lake around 3 p.m. Sunday when the aircraft lost control and flipped upside down in the water.
Police said no one was injured in the accident, which is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration. (The plane was trolling a grandma off one pontoon and a jake off the other pontoon. The force of the musky strike caused driver to lose control. Which lure was hit is not known.)

Pretty funny doctoring of that story!

I wonder if I know which plane that was – hope they are OK.

Everyone was fine after the accident, but there may be some bruised egos.
I thought about this because a friend of mine does take his seaplane out as fishing charters to hit several lakes all across northern Michigan. They fish right off the plane and then take a scenic tours to the next spot.
