Chad and I fished Clam from early afternoon on Friday through late morning on Sunday. Mainly casted the break, points, and inside turns. Attempted to do some trolling given the bluebird skies and low wind, but my big motor did not want to cooperate. The water temps ranged from roughly 57 to 60, water clarity was 15 feet plus, and the weeds were just starting to develop deeper than 8 feet. We caught a half dozen or so pike and one “football” smallmouth on jerkbaits, twitch baits, and crankbaits. No muskies seen . . . . uuggghhh!
