Fished the edges mainly for snakes and eyes.Switched over to bottom bouncers and crawler harnesses in 14-18FOW popped some small jaws and a eye.Jennifers personal best 3-4#brown pitbull..

Monday-Neebish narrows,over to canuck border.Wanted to pop some smallies on topwater/poppers/spinnerbaits/cranks on a 1/2 mile stretch of rocks/boulders,impressive…some football sized ,some the size of VW`s 😯 not a sniff…water green to milky 68.Again went to bottom bouncers off that edge in 18-22 FOW….smallies only.

Wednesday-Did the "KONG"..8-2pm.LOVE that 20 mile boat ride.Having bluebird 80 degree weather all week.Nice…not so nice for the fishin.Water 69.5-71.Trolled off the south side of ba;d island trying to stay in 12-16FOW.Water blue/green pretty clear.Some AMAZING cabbage patches in 12-16FOW coming to about a foot below surface so had to run SS shads and other shallow runnin cranks/spinners.Not a sniff..

Thurday-Seems to be a live bait thing up here.Reports were musky fishin is slow AT THIS TIME OF YEAR??Munuscong looked good to me ..nice temps/weeds.Walleye guys were gettin a few in 28-32FOW.Fished the bouys and shippin channel 5-10pm stayin in that 28-30fow with bottom bouncers at 1.5-2mph as told.A few perch..

Summary….locals have a diamond in the rough up here.Seems to be a big livebait thing up here.Find that strange with the temps so cool and still fishing that deep?Said it didn`t matter what time of day you fished as long as you were on the bottom.Muskies good in October.Would like to move and our discussing it as we have family there and brother in law Corey quit virginia tile two months ago and moved up there also..Nice and slow pace..

Al is working with the indians and wallyes are being reared and planted by the millions.Also cormorants eggs are being killed/sprayed and shot.Five boats went out (legally)and shot over 150 birds with 10 shooters.The walleye fisherery and overall fising is improving..

Al`s condo`s are up for sale…so you might want to go as these sweet accomadations for the SOO(not much else up there)might not be around for long.But Al say1s nuthin sells in the SOO. 😯
