got up there pretty late on Friday and hit the water at about 3:30 weather was pretty chilly with NW wind. Water Temps hanging around 59 with good weed growth in the small lakes.
Did not move any fish and called it a night at about 8:30 as it was getting cold fast.
Saturday hit the water about ten with newbie Mike that came for the outing to learn a little more about Muskies. Worked Hanley and did not see anything but the weather was vastly improved. Slid up to Ben-way for a single pass on the west shore and had a huge smallmouth chase down a bumblebee shallow invader but no skies.
Saturday afternoon Muskypimp and I got int he boat and he manged to move two but could not connect. The bad weather arrived as promised but did not turn the fish on. Since the rain-gear and the boat cover were both not in the boat We ran back to Thurston to get them. Fished alittle more and I decided I was too much of a wuss to fish in the cold a** rain and wind so we pulled the boat around six.
Saw Dan and Ann later with a report of no success and saw the Stinsons and nstagator (I'll just leave it there and get it out later) coming in at nightfall. Don't know how they did.
