Fished the Big Manistee river 7am-noonish, lower portion near Manistee lake.
Water temp. ? cold
The carcass run is about over.
Landed 16 of the 21 fish we hooked. 11 steelhead 4 suckers and a walleye. Pulled plugs for awhile …nada. Started rolling spawn bags and it was non stop action. Steelhead were almost all between 6#-8# except two shakers and the one we actually weighed 13.6#. Walleye was 30" and came on spawn. Steelhead are really starting to move up the river out of the lake, they are stacked in the lower holes.
