Fished from 7:15 to 3:15. Water was 75-78°F, with visibility varying between about 15" and 2 feet, mostly 15". Algae blooming pretty well, but I don't think it was all algae reducing the visibility. Milfoil looked healthy, and was contained to limited areas; maybe owing partly to cutting, which I saw being done on the south side near the middle. Nice looking coontail submerged beyond the milfoil edges. Like Jason said, plenty of scum bubbles (Jason calls it "slop"; what is it? String algae? It's plenty stringy, and smelly….) floating around

Saw fish at the surface early, north of the point just SW of the DNR launch. Other than that, didn't see a fish all day. Tried shallow first, then deep; humps and holes; casted for suspended fish over the 20' breaks. Bupkis. [smilie=brickwall.gif] Left when I couldn't stand the boat traffic any more.

Dayum stoopid fish! [smilie=bangtard.gif] I think I'm going to take up crocheting. 🙄 Anyone need a new sweater?
