Water temp low 70's, weed growth continuing to expand.
Fished from 6am-noon. 7:30, caught 35" muskie on a bucktail at boatside. It was my first muskie casting. I can see why boatside strikes can become addictive!
At 10:30, caught a 32" pike on a spoonplug trolling at 15' on weededge.
Noon, lost a decent fish, only on briefly at 25', had ripped a spoonplug off some weeds while trolling. Fish hit when I let the lure back. Not fast and furious fishing, but the activity seems to be increasing…………Charlie

Don't feel bad about not being able to troll well. It's a skill that has to be practiced, and go through a certain amount of frustration, to precision troll a weedline. You're way ahead of me when it comes to casting, so I need a lot of practice in that area. You've been very helpful in sharing info. Thanks………..Charlie
