Well, for the first time in a long while I got out muskie fishing.Took my
oldest daughter out.Fished from first light(dont even know what time it was) to about 1:30 pm or so.
What a day!!! Contacted 35 fish and caught 8. 35,35,43,44,45,46,50,50.25. Murray lake is the greatest muskie lake in the world!!!!
ya right. Murray sucks and so do I!!! 6.5 hours and only seen 2 dinks.
Filthy,dirty,no good,mother azz mothers!!!
Lots of muskie boats,and still a few pleasure boats out.Quite a bit of floating weeds and if I remember right, the water temp was around 68.

I can really see a difference in these fish from a month ago when they weren't getting a lot of pressure. I'm not a big blind figure eight guy, I'll make a good L and if I don't see a fish call it good (with most baits). Right now if you aren't making at least two full turns you are going to miss some fish on Murray.

I'll second that. They are coming straight from underneath from what I could tell. Or staying back far enough to watch the lure do something erratic. I had 2 like that last week, and 1 Sat. Sad to say, I'm still missing them. Seems like 2 18 turns is what I'll have to start doing.
