Clarity: Very good, 4-7 feet
Weed growth: Lot of good green milfoil in deeper water.
Smaller fish were moving on the edges with the bigger fish out deeper. Got a 34" on a SuperD at 5pm off one of the main lake points. Got my first suspended fish (I think); a nice 40" caught over 30' of water also on a SuperD. That fish was caught around 8pm.
Ditto on the conditions. It was only my second trip out this year since the opener.
We caught two fish: a small one (5:15) and a nice 39'' (7:30) over 30 ft of water. Also had two on for the first time on a home made topwater (weagle ish) bait after dark. That was frickin cool [smilie=attention.gif] The first one jumped a few feet out of the water and tossed the hooks, the second didn't get any hooks probably because the lure for some reason jump about 15ft away from where it struck. Blood might have been pumping little too fast. [smilie=brickwall.gif]
