fished 5:30 – 11:15
water temp: 73-76
Weed growth: Lots of green still all over, good deep milfoil.
Clarity: little less visible with a greenish tint but still could see 6 feet or so
Skipped two softball games because the weather was so perfect and I am glad I did. Dad got a 29" on a suzy sucker and a 36" on a magdawg and I got a 36.5, 38.5, and 46.25 all on a new super D. Had 10 other follows (all but one were on the super D) and missed two others and the super D. Got the 29 early on and had all the follows during the day. Fish started hitting in the evening and during the night.

Great outing, big fish. I dont think I remember if Mike King got a measurement on that 30 lbr a couple of falls ago. He was fishing alone. What do you think that 46 went??? And, what is a super D?
Im thinking it was close to 30 lbs; it was very fat. It doesnt look very long in the picture because it is so fat. A super D is a knock off magdawg made by tacklebooty. It held up pretty well from the 5 hits but I think im going to retire it.

Some of the pics are a little to very blurry and I think it is because we didnt put the flash on right away and it was just dark enough to blur the camera, but I am no expert.

Hemi:Wouldn't you agree that he has an enormous advantage in fishing from the front of the boat?!
I guess there might be some advantages to fishing the front, depending on how hot the fish are. But when I'm fishing with someone, I always try to throw something different than the other guy. I've had it plenty of time where the fish bypassed my crank, and went after a bucktail. But if the fish is hot and will eat anything, that's where the front will have the advantages. [smilie=bs.gif] ??? Funny story, actually, last summer Matt & I went pike fishing and I had boated 5 pike 22-24". Matt – 0. We switched places in the boat, and from the back, I caught the 2 biggest for the day 26 & 29".
