Weed Growth: Very abundant around dropoffs, and very green in some deeper areas.

Fished with Matt & my Dad from 5-10 pm. Had 6 Follows on shallow cranks & twitchers. Nothing on topwater. Caught one 30" at 7:30 on a shallow invader. All follows came from around 6-10' of water.

I actually had a huge clump of weeds on the lure. As I was trying to rip them off, the fish came from below right at boatside. Didn't even see it coming. She still ate it… weeds and all.
