Weed growth not underway too much, occasional green coontail and lily pads are emerging

Seven rigs there when I got there
Moved 5 fish, notably for me a 45 incher that made it to the net, my personal best from Michigan
Regrettably, no pics. I was fishing alone, and the fish never left the water. Huge head, pretty thick body all the way down to the tail, markings washed out with a silvery-tan sheen. Tried to flip the camera on for a release shot, but in the three seconds or so that it takes the camera to get ready, the fish took off.
