Fished 4pm-530pm

Water temp 38
Air temp 38
Wind out of the S-SW < 10kts.

Warm enough to not have to wear gloves, that was nice.

One follow at the boat-I think it came from under the boat? From the direction and speed it was moving it seemed that way. At 5pm in 12 FOW.

Started to rain and I started to think about the hill being snow covered so I started back out. Launch was in good shape thanks to Charlie's shovel, the hill was hard pack but I was able to get up with AWD. Definitely have 4WD if you go or lots of salt and a shovel.

It's fantastic that you're still after them like this but do you drive all the way from K'zoo up to Murray for these outings even for just 90 minutes on the water? I mean this as a compliment, because if you're taking on this winter weather and the long round trip for such a limited amount of fishing time, well I salute you as one very sick musky nut!

Its one of the few lakes still not iced over and the fish are biting! I am hoping that gas prices stay low, I would like to fish it more next spring.

Fishing is a diagnosed illness that runs in the family….

Getting a 46" as your first muskie makes Bill a highly contagious "Muskie Nut"! I'll be on the water at noon today (5th) and hopefully will have something worthwhile to post.
