Fished Murray last night from 4p-8p, with my good buddy Scott Abbatoy.
We had a interesting Muskie incident. While messing around the shallows with our Flyrods we observed what appeared to be a dead muskie floating upside down in about four foot of water. As we inched closer to it, I could see its Gills were still moving, although invereted. The muskie was a male about 34 inches with a rather large bite mark in the center of its back and lateral area. I gently picked him up and placed him into the Beckmen net and motored out to deeper water, after holding him up right for about ten minuets by the tail and holding him down a couple feet into the cooler water He righted himself and swam off strong… I surmized Judging from his bite marks and condtion he got t-bones pretty good by a rival suitor and was stuned, KO.
After that We had good muskie Karma in the Skeeter…LOL 8)
