Water surface temp up to 78 in Mac to 65 out in the big Lake.
Water clear for Macatawa- about 1 foot!!!

Trolled around for a couple hours had a couple big rips on large cranks which ended up in the net!!! (a pair of 28 in Freshwater Drum- savage fighters… peeled the drags nicely… provided some excitement!!!)

Looking for cooler water and didn't find in until between the piers). Lots of boats out in front of the piers fishing for perch. Marked some nice schools in 22-30 feet of water about 8-12 feet down. I was trolling around them hoping to find a pig feasting on them.
