Weed growth best in 4 to 8 feet, curly-leaf and broadleaf cabbage, need to keep the baits high. Not much milfoil or coontail yet in the deeper water, some low weeds out to 16 feet or so
Fished noon- 3:30 PM, summery, hot until a SW breeze came up
No takers, three fish seen, all scarred from spawning, lazy, 30"-40"
High water makes the center bar more fishable
