Fished austin with my dad from about 1-8:30PM. Met king and queenfisher as we were launching; they were willing to talk to us and gave us some good info on the lake since they were just getting done fishing it. They are extremely nice and it was great meeting them; hopefully we'll meet out on the water again sometime. Did not get a water temp, water was very clear, and the weeds that were in there were nice and thick but still easily fishable. Got a 37.5 on a shallow crank early and a 39 on a topwater later. Missed two others in between. It was good to get a couple in the boat for the first time fishing the lake and just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the help and info on the lake.
