Forecasted 70% chance of rain turned into hotternell and only a few poofy white clouds. Stinkin weather man ought to be fired for costing us vacation time like that!! Ended up packing up after only fishing from 11:30 to 4:30- I hate getting beaten on by the sun and was also able to score a few points at home by getting back early.

Oh well we did see one nice fish plus a couple others, and landed one. Any day in the presence of even one muskie and not in the office is time well spent. The water was 78 with only slight bloom (clear for Thorn) and the weed edges were well defined. Water was too warm and sun too bright for any fish to be shallow this day though, they were not there.
