Good to meet you Scott, and the one contact you had was much better than my efforts which moved nothing. By the way, thanks to Kingfisher I had a plan when I arrived in the morning to find thin ice over the lake after the cold, calm night. Remembering his post from last year, I launched into the ice and drove up and down the lake, but slowly since I wasn't sure about the light flatbottom against all the thin but huge sheets of ice. It broke things up nicely and the wind and warming day left me an open lake by noon or so. I had done some icebreaking before but always luckily in someone else's boat!
Then Scott got to watch me motor around endlessly like an idiot at prime dusk time as I tried to run my little outboard dry to put it away for a while. A little 2.5 Nissan sure runs a long time on a tiny internal tank, I ran it on and off all day and still had to run the snot out of it at the end.
