Murray Monday, Its our fun day,here the drags run day. 
➡ We arrived with a plan at 5:30 am. No casting rods or casting lures in the boat. The plan was to troll with planer boards until we caught 5 fish. Well it didnt work. Water temps at 77 and holding. 6 am we caught a nice 43 incher on a Loke off the boards and that was the end of that plan. At 9 am after three hours without a rip. We pulled the boards and went in tight to the edge. This put two more in the boat one was a nice 42 incher. Also snagged a Gar in the Kiester he was not impressed with the hook in his arse. 12:00 noon double water skiers hit the lake and we said see ya!!!!. 3 for 3 on the Skis and p,od Gar not a bad day for Musky Monday. How about next wed night musky league at murray w/one open spot in your boat for a newbie/outta towner???Think I could possibly con team schultz boat and midland musky(maybe)he lives far,as these were the only folks that were interested in a on the water get together……..

Hi Dave, When I quit my day job I did it for two reasons. One to Make lures for a living and that is somthing I love to do. So far its working out great. My wife is a registered Nurse and works three 12 hr nights on gets two off then three on and 6 off. Thats why you see us on the water a lot. Cant do next wed. as we will be at St. Clair. We fish every other Monday at Murray or Osterhout. Shelly has to work thur,fri and sat nites. she sleeps sunday and sunday night and we get up early on Monday and fish till mid day. then she works tuesday thru thursday and we leave friday afternoon for our 5 day adventure. this repeats every month. I work the same nights that she does making lures and selling them. We will be in Ontario friday night and will return wednsday night. then we work until Monday. It goes around and around. thats the second reason I quit my day job. So I could spend more quality time with my Wife. Next year we wont be so hard on the Muskies. We plan on trout fishing, a trip to disney land ,Tarpon fishing, deer hunting and home renovation. Getting the little boat has helped make our trips more afforable. We get snicked at when we pull up in the little Aveo pulling the 14 foot jon until they see the electronics and rod holders 
. 2 gallons of gas per day and we do a lot of trolling. Its all about making the dream come true and not accepting the little defeats that slow us down. Michelle and I can still fish a local lake in Michigan for around 20 bucks per day. I cant pull my Starcraft around the block for that. Kingfisher
