Got on the water with the Muskie Medic at 600am and fished until 8pm. The winter layoff apparently made us quite rusty because we struck out on our first five chances. We had rips casting bucktails and glide baits in shallow water but could not get them into the net. In the afternoon we tried trolling and had the same luck…..lost three. Just before dark we did manage to boat a 30 incher and a nice 38 inch pike on glide baits.
