Fished Budd with Dr. Ron Lehman saturday. Skies very dark overcast and rain all afternoon. Ron is an accomplished Fly fisherman with Tarpon,Bonefish and Snook to his credits. His Fly presentations were great and even had one black and yellow fly that walked the dog when he stripped it in. He had three fish up and nearly put one in the boat . He is now working on a shorter leader system so he can figure 8 or at least do a large oval. Water temps were 57/59 and very few weeds up except for the north end where we contacted 5 of our 8 fish. Fish were still showing spawning signs and more interested in each other than our lures. Water was very stained and forage was marking deep. Saw Musky Dan and partner also raising fish. No takers for us, 8 follows and we got wet. Kingfisher
