Water temp 78-79
Water was dirty but could see bottom, Good weed growth in spots. Finally able to get out today. I made it three hours before it got to warm and to much traffic. I had three follows mid to upper 30's no takers. Cought two small bass and saw lots of stinking GAR. I have seen lots in the past also but none want eat, can I get any more help from other MMA's. It's been dry for me since May. Lot's of lookers but again no takers.

Thanks for any help,

Thanks King, I've got to try something different. I'm going to try to get out again this week. I'll let you know.

I like Austin too, especially last year, but experienced mostly the same thing as you so far in a few visits this season. Some lookers, not as many as last year, and few takers. For what it's worth I've only caught them on fairly natural colored body baits there in the clear water, have had some interest in blades and soft plastics, but no bites on them so far. I might try this week too and will say hello if I see another musky chaser among the bass boats.
