Fished Thornapple for the opener. Water temps were in the low 50's. Water clarity was good. Boat launch was full by 7 AM. Spent most of the casting, trolled for about 1.5 hours. We moved several fish casting minnow baits and jerk baits. Caught a 35 incher and lost one casting. Lost another one trolling.
