Dave, I must have seen you yesterday on Campau. I was the guy in the red S-10 with the brown Crestliner. I probably should have gotten social but my fishing instincts are to create separation on a small lake. Only saw one lazy follow, I'm glad you got one to strike. Would have taken any clues you could give me on the Eau de Toilet, I've spent two afternoons out there with a couple of drum and bass to show. Are there ever fish east of the Narrows, or is it all Lake channel-oriented?

A friend of mine working a shocking boat this summer turned up a BIG fish near the point there at the narrows. North shore, just a little up from the main point. Thats not much east of the narrows, but its something anyway.

I've seen fish across from Kollens when there were shad piled up in the cove.

Nope, it was near the tip of Superior Pt. Right up in the shallows, in feeding mode I might guess. The boat was doing tissue sampling, and they couldn't find any fish other than carp & shad in that area… until the big muskie bellied up, rolled over, then took off.

Thank you, gentlemen. I'll have to take a deep breath and keep trying. Reminds me of fishing Burt Lake for muskies a little… well, maybe not that bad.
