Managed a 44 right at dark last night on a jackpot. That lake is crazy, there is weeds, they are choking the lake and then they are gone. Lots of folks fishing but only one other musky boat.

Nice fish Dan. I think that's the biggest one I've heard from there since we started fishing it after the initial planting. Is that correct…..anyone? I'm curious, for that length, was it in good shape…..skinny or well proportioned? Also, I know what you mean about the weeds. I was there last 2 weeks ago for the first time this year and found it difficult to troll until I got use to where all the huge weed density was.

You're the Jackpot King, man! I seldom reach for that lure…..gotta start doing that…..especially now.

That's the longest I've heard. Last year the first year females were 41-42, that's pretty good growth to make 44 this year.

Nice job Danny.

That 44 is the current lake record for a pure muskie, as far as I know too. Congrats! The reason for the weed disappearance is simple though- alien crop circles. No actually, they do mechanical weed removals out there- I think they are planning to construct a ski hill on the property with all of the weeds they pull!! Wink
