Visited Ovid on Sunday morning and found the water temp at 72 during our quick 3 hour stay with light winds. The weeds are really out and you have to be wary in your trolling routes or you'll be wasting a lot of time.

Tried casting from 10 to 11 with no results off the weed edges then trolled until we left at 1. Picked up a fat 35 at noon on a super shad rap (blue gill). Not many boats out there. Saw no other muskie fishermen.
