Wandered WTF was swimmin over 70 FOW..it was Mr.Squirrel..lol..loloma..Saw this squirrel swimming out over 70FOW heading for shore..lol..I thought about scoopin the little guy up because he was huffin and puffin and snortin so much…lol….loloma..he was dog paddlin..lol..loloma..

then I decided(which I was trolling at the time,rod holders..)to troll with him in my trolling spread..lol.I thought hmm-mm he looks pretty good in the water..had my baits running right in his path.

As he was approaching the willows I made a left turn back out to deep water cos we were approaching shore.When I turned back around and straightened the boat out he was gone??No swoosh…or anything???Hmmm
Did he go for a power dive?Or was he LUNCH..to something??lol..loloma

Got me thinkin about the squirrel trolling harness thing again..lol..loloma.. ❓ 💡 💡

A day with the squirrels:

Then coming up the hill with the boat/trailering home by the apple orchard..I noticed a squirrel pancaked in the middle of the road.I tried to straddle him the best I could…didn`t want any squirrel bones in me tires…and I heard one of my trailer chains come off…….couldn`t be…..yes I snagged up the little guy …..PEEEUUUUUUUUU….

Could this have been the little guy that made his voyage across the lake….and wasn`t having the best of days??Who knows….?? 🙄 🙄 🙄

Oh yeah summer is over and boat traffic is NIL !! only one other musky boat,2 jet skies,couple of panfishers…
