Ovid was pretty kind to me this weekend, a number in the bag and lots of action made the cold and wind a non-issue. Got a healthy 37 1/2 with tag number 47-159. Who caught her first, when and where? That's the first tagged fish I poked out there.
Water temps around 48 degrees. Weeds pretty sloppy. Water starting to clear up a bit especially mid lake and towards the north end.

On looking back at my Lunge Log entry for that fish, I now remember catching that fish on the NORTH end of that same weedbed you caught him on. I had confused him with a fish I'd caught trolling two days later up by the dam.
Very enlightening, especially because another recap I recently had was a 40"-er I tagged that Jim tenHaaf first caught on the South side and I later caught on the North side of the very same weedbed we're talking about here.
