Alligator prowls Ypsilanti Township lake, residents claim
In a showdown between critter and conservation workers, a wily — and perhaps imaginary — alligator is winning. Since Tuesday, state Department of Natural Resources workers have searched for what residents insist is an alligator in a private lake. Anyone with information should call the DNR at (800) 292-7800.

5-foot? Sounds like one of the earliest stocking of northern strain from Iowa. Should we send in our elite trophy muskie patrol to help out the DNR? Who was it that had the large swimming duck lure or should we strap on the swimming squirrel?

DNR searches for alligator in lake
