Fred and I hit the water around 8:30 AM and left around 2:30. Water temp was 52 by afternoon but found a sand area that reached 56 which seemed to be consistent with theory that sunny skies and sand will hold or retain more warmth. Weeds were coming up all over but fish very sluggish it appeared with blue bird skies and little chop dominating. One fish boated (a 34) for the day casting a crank bait. Nothing else seen. Probably needed to work more vertical than what we did. My new charger had my upfront batteries right up to the max, so I was happy about that.
