Went down to the DR on the 14th/15th jiggin…

Saturday fished Trenton South of stacks in the a.m. boating 4. Slow for us, so about 1 went to Wyandotte. Poked around a little and finally got on fish. We ended up with a 4 man limit by 6.

Went back to Wyandotte on Sunday morning and had a 4 man limit by 11. Culled 7 more fish and headed for home at 1.

Chart Jigs with Wyandotte worm, flukes, and fin-s, no minnows.

What a hoot! Best walleye numbers my boat has seen in the 7 years of doing this. I think I am goving up my May to the Walleye.. 28 pounds of walleye fillets… all fish caught were under 22".

Guys,

If you have ever thought about going to the DR for Walleye, you might want to get over there soon… Today, we had a 4 man limit in the frst 90 minutes. We proceded to catch another 80 fish… No kidding. We boated 100 fish, give or take. My nephew got a pig fat 29 incher that went 10 pounds. Almost everything else we caught were 18-23" males. What a hoot!
