Fished 6a – 2p preparing for trips with Nstagator and Scrappy/Bomba this week.

Water temp: 67-72
Water clarity/color: Ultra clear to slight stain.
Weed growth: Perfect mid-summer growth everywhere. Fish were keying on cabbage and only smallmouth were using milfoil.
Fish seen or caught: 4 in the net from 39 to 52.5

There was another 51-52 about 200 yards away that wouldn't eat… we'll see if Dave catches her this week. If not, she's all yours…

There's enough to go around… I just hope you guys don't mind fishing with only a Red Eye all day – that's the best lure out there.

Reminder:
What happens in Will's boat stays in Will's boat. Yes, that even applies to you Scott if we're fishing in your boat.

Samrt of you to put in that disclaimer about my boat Will, they pay us lawyers to take advantage of those loop holes. Let's hope that the "more than enoughs" bite well for Bomba and I. The way Don's season is going, he deserves a nice big girl…after I get mine anyway.
