Well since Sanford continues to kick my butt and the musky God's failed to rally to my side on Georgian Bay my walleye fishing partner and I decided to spend the weekend on the Bay. Yes, I needed to prove to myself that I can actually catch a fish every now and again. We kept our limit of 10 the first day and eight the last two days and threw back at least another 50 to 75 fish. Biggest was 23 1/2 inches with most in that perfect eating 17 to 20 inch range. We were running west to east (with the wind) about 3 miles or so north of the spark plug in 22 to 25 feet of water. We had our best success on 1 1/2 oz bottom bouncers 60 feet back off the boards going 1.8 mph and pulling crawler harnasses. Small copper and blue/orange blades were the hot ticket.
