Fished the lower Detroit River from 6a-1p looking at some new water.

Water temp: 68-74
Water clarity/color: Clear to stained.
Weed growth: Some good cabbage but dominated by junk weeds in most areas.

This area and the last few miles to Erie will need some additional hours on it before I’ll give it a thumbs up or down. There seems to be good numbers of fish but I didn't turn up the size I was looking for (37, 39. 42). I know the big girls are here but it might require a change in tactics.
