No matter if it's fishing or something else there are always people like this. The best thing you can do is ignore them, I know this is hard to do.I don't know any of these guy's and can't say anything one way or another. Don't know anything about Pete Mania and someone I know told me he was just a punk! I was pretty surprised and didn't know if this is true or not. I forgot all about this until these post's came up. I still don't know if it is true or not and don't really care. All I want is muskie fishing to get better and better and No Spearing Muskies!! 
I run into a ton of people like this guy in the center pin world…Its amazing how many people know everything there is to know after doing it for a year or two [smilie=bow.gif] Its nice knowing the guys that have been doing it for 25 years, and you can learn more in 5 minutes watching what they do, than in two weeks talking to a schmuck.
This is exactly why I really appreciate this forum, I notice that the posts are short, well thought out, and limited to each persons knowledge/skill level, and when they run out of info, they leave it to someone else, or ask someone else to chime in. Reading the informative posts here are like watching some of my steelhead buddies fish, and seeing some guys on the lakes is the same way. I caught at least 10 fish on murray last year using ideas that I got from people on this site, and years worth of experience fishing with Will up north…
In short, thanks all for the great info, and reading those posts on LSCN are proof this is a good bunch of anglers.
